Macabre Parfums originates as an extension of the founder's artistic concept, known simply as Macabre; an exploration of her own twisted and dark nature, teetering between creativity and madness. The common thread is the melancholic and sometimes somber nature of inspiration, which nonetheless has the power to birth and guide the creative process. An ambiguous relationship where sadness isn't to be eradicated, but rather listened to. Thus, what was initially solely visual art has transformed into olfactive creations aiming to encapsulate thoughts, memories, moods, and mental conditions, without a happy ending.
